ACCESS™

A neuroinclusive design framework for events, conferences, meetings, and learning environments.

← Back to the homepage
ACCESS™ moves neuroinclusion into the architecture of the experience. Instead of waiting for people to request exceptions, it plans for different sensory, communication, participation, and energy needs from the first planning conversation.
The six dimensions

Access belongs in the plan, not at the edge of it.

  • Adaptable Environments: create more than one workable way to occupy the space.
  • Clear Communication: reduce avoidable ambiguity before, during, and after the event.
  • Conscious Design: make participation choices intentionally rather than by habit.
  • Energy Management: account for recovery, pacing, sensory load, and cognitive demand.
  • Systemically Aware: look for barriers that are produced by the environment rather than the individual.
  • Safe Spaces: build conditions where people can participate without unnecessary social or psychological cost.
